Welcome to Äyonha ("we," "our," or "us") at www.ayonha.com. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, products and services. By using our website or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Business Information

3. Product Information

Äyonha is a product of the South African economy, with all materials sourced locally, except for our exclusive oils imported from the Middle East.

The ingredients for each fragrance are listed on both the packaging and the Product Details section of each product page on our website. We encourage you to review these carefully before making a purchase. While we conduct voluntary participant testing, we cannot guarantee that our products will suit for all skin types. For your safety and peace of mind, we recommend testing the product in-store at one of our Stockists, where available.

4. Account Requirements

To purchase from our website, you must be over eighteen (18) years of age and have a valid credit or debit card. By placing an order, you agree to buy the product(s) at the listed price. Äyonha reserves the right to refuse any order due to unavailability, pricing errors or any other valid reason.

5. Payment

Payments can be made securely via Visa, MasterCard or instant EFT through our payment gateway partner, Payfast (www.payfast.com). While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot be held liable for security breaches beyond our control.

6. Shipping and Returns

• Shipping: Once your order is confirmed, we will arrange delivery to the shipping address provided. You will receive an email notification when your order has been dispatched. Ownership of goods transfers to you upon dispatch, and risk transfers upon receipt. We currently ship within South Africa, with shipping costs starting from R90, depending on location. Orders over R1500 qualify for free shipping based on proximity. Detailed information can be found under Shipping Policy and Refund Policy.
• Returns: Due to the handcrafted nature of our perfumes, all sales are final. We do not accept returns. We strongly encourage visiting our Stockists to experience our scents before making a purchase. If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please notify us within seven (7) days of receipt. To request a replacement, email info@ayonha.com or fill out our Contact form with your order number, item name and a clear photo of the issue. We do not offer replacements or refunds for items that have been used, worn or damaged due to improper care.

7. Labelling and Advertising Claims

Äyonha is inspired by the rich cultural influences of both the Middle East and Southern Africa. Our product names and marketing reflect these influences but do not claim exclusivity to any specific demographic. Additionally, while we describe the scent experience, we do not guarantee fragrance longevity beyond general product descriptions.

8. Liability

Äyonha is not responsible for any adverse reactions caused by our products. We advise reviewing the Product Details section and testing in-store at our Stockists, where possible. By purchasing, you assume responsibility for proper product use.

We also do not guarantee the our website will always be error-free or available. Äyonha is not liable for damages arising from website use.

9. Privacy Policy and Data Collection

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. Data collected, such as names, contact details and purchase history, is used only for order fulfilment and marketing (with your consent). All website content, including text, images, logos and product names is the intellectual property of Äyonha. Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Äyonha shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue or profits. 

12. Amendments & Accuracy

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our website or purchase of our products constitutes acceptance of any updates.

While we strive for accuracy, Äyonha does not guarantee that all website content is always correct or up to date. Prices are subject to change without notice.
